Standard Horizon HX400IS Intrinsically Safe VHF FM Marine Transceiver
Marine and Land Mobile Channels
The HX400IS is factory programmable with all International, USA, Canadian and NOAA Weather channels. It also has the capability to be programmed with 40 Land Mobile Radio (134-174MHz) channels with CTCSS or DCS signalling by a Standard Horizon dealer.
Lithium-Ion Battery and Rapid Charger
The HX400IS is supplied with a large capacity 2300mAh Lithium-Ion battery, with an expected operating time of up to 17 hours. The radio is supplied with a 3 hour rapid charger for minimum down time.
Built-in Noise Canceling Mic and Voice Scrambler
Expect clear communications, the built-in Noise Cancelling microphone is engineered to cancel out external noise when operating in a busy environment. Expect private communications, with an internal 4 code scrambler compatible with other Standard Horizon Handheld radios and Fixed mount radios with a 4 code scrambler installed.
Loud Audio
The HX400IS is designed to be heard in even the noisiest environment with 700mW of power supplied to the internal speaker.
Programmable Scan, Priority Scan and Dual Watch
Scanning is made simple with the HX400IS. The radio can be setup to scan any number of channels with or without a priority channel or simply can be setup to scan between a priority channel and one or two other channels (Dual and Tri-Watch)
